MetStrong classes are your opportunity to work on Strongman specific lifts, movements and events under the watchful eye of our Strength Coach, and competitive Strongman, Ben.
MetStrong was introduced to our class timetable due to sheer demand. As Strongman has grown in the UK and at Athlete Movement, many of our members wanted to give the exciting lifts and events a go but didn’t know where to begin. Enter MetStrong.
Each class focuses on a specific Strongman lift such as log, deadlift, dumbbell press etc; developing technique and raw strength, whilst the rest of the session focuses on Strongman events training including; sandbags, kegs, yoke, farmers walks, tyre flips, grip work and much more.
Coach Ben tailors the difficulty level to the individuals in each class. It is not uncommon to have a highly experienced Strongman training alongside a complete novice in our MetStrong classes.
MetStrong classes are open to Athlete Movement members and non-members alike. So if you’re looking for a challenge, or to experience something new, get booked in.
